Kanzi is a cub from a pride in the vast pride lands, born with fur no lion has ever seen before in their life. She was albino! Her mother named her Kanzi(meaning treasure on Swahili), and knew she needed to be protected from the light, or at least thought. She kept Kanzi in the cave, sheltering her from all society. All Kanzi ever wanted was to touch the light and feel the rain on her fur, but she was always being watched, eyes never astray. Until she gets put into the wrong paws….
