They work at a little nick nack shop in the dark choco kingdom that they run themself with their co worker herder cookie who acts as the accountant and most things for the store. Of course however the store is really just to get people to come in that sherbet can manipulate and control for fun. I think that at sherbet was an official cookie they would probably be a cookie of darkness and have some kind of rivalry with licorice cookie, likely with both of them fighting for praise from pomegranate of D.E.

I can just imagine a sanario with herder and sherbet chatting while on at lunch break at work and sherbet is just ranting about how annoyed with licorice they are and Eder just listen quietly.
