Yes this is another dumb hyena activist rant. When you see a video of a hyena eating an impala/gazelle/whatever alive, the comments are like “omg hyenas are so cruel, they eat prey alive” No, they’re not cruel. They don’t eat prey alive to be mean, they do it because that’s the most effective way of killing for them to survive. Lions don’t suffocate their prey out of morality, and hy and hyenas don’t eat their prey alive to be cruel. It’s nature. Every animal will do what it will to survive. All these people saying “Hyenas should go extinct cuz they’re so cruel” Obviously have no idea what nature is and think that everything’s a Disney movie. I feel bad for the impala too, but it’s just what these cheetahs and hyenas are doing so they can, oH I don’t know, LIVE. Sorry I get defensive about hyenas as you already know
