Not too far away from her was a young boy walking down the sidewalk, looking down at his feet. He wore an oversized long sleeved shirt with black and white stripes and jeans that dropped over his feet a bit. He had rather odd indigo colored hair and he seemed to be wiping dripping tears from his eyes. He had a rather sizable bruise forming on the side of his cheek.

*a fairly tall woman with grey skin was watching children cross a street from afar as she walked down the sidewalk, she got a lot of stares for her peculiar skin color but didn’t mind it too much. She slightly smiled while keeping an eye on the smol kids and nothing else, not exactly watching where she was going*

Not too far away from her was a rather young boy, walking down the sidewalk. He wore an oversized longsleeve shirt with black and white stripes and pants but no shoes. He had odd colored indigo hair and four small horns poking out from his head. He seemed to be crying as he walked, his indigo hair fell into his face. But what could be seen of his face, there seemed to be a rather sizable bruise forming on his lower cheek.
???: *she continued watching until they got across the road then looked ahead, she happily looked ahead while playing with the heart locket on her necklace, seeing children always made her day even if it was by a little bit. She noticed the boy not too far off, she found it odd that he was alone and decided to start making her way over. The closer she got the more worried she got, she stopped in front of him but still gave him some space* hey there..-
He seemed to flinch at her voice, he didn't seem startled, if anything he seemed afraid. He refused to look up at her, and instead stared down at his feet, his pointy ears drooped. He murdered a small, 'hello.' As he stared down. He didn't seem to want to show his face to her.

Valarie: now that’s a name I’ve never heard before, pretty unique if you ask me. *she chuckled a bit and smiled back at him. She simply admired his eyes thinking they were pretty* it’s nice to meet you City, you can call me Valarie.
Valarie: *she wasn’t surprised that he didn’t know what she was, there were very few left of her kind after all* oh- I’m a grey skinned vampire. I look pretty out of the ordinary huh? *she hugged her knees*
Valarie: I’m glad you think so. *she reached over to pat his head slowly, not wanting to startle him* it’s been a while since I’ve seen another one of my species though.
Valarie: they’re all..hiding somewhere *she shrugged, simply avoiding talking about death to a kid, she..honestly didn’t wanna hear it either* last I heard there’s less than ten left-
Valarie: no no, it’s fine. *she slightly smiled while fiddling with the heart locket she wore while slowly noticing he had no shoes on, she moved a little closer and warmly smiled* say..the ground out here is a little too cool to be walking out without shoes on- do you wanna come with me to get warm City...?
Valarie: that is smart, but I don’t want to leave you alone out here, It’s dangerous.
Valarie: *she nodded* don’t worry, if your mother gets upset I’ll take the blame. *she wanted to do what she could to help the child even if it meant getting into trouble which was the inevitable. The woman with grey skin held out her arms to him* may I carry you my child?
Valarie: *her blue eyes watched him as she patiently waited for him to get closer, not wanting to rush anything and gave him a small smile* you can do it.
