Linki'm legit so confused. they are SUPER homphobic yet they accept me. why me though? why don't they support the LGBTQ but they support me? i need some answers, this makes no sense in my brain

i like like one of friends at school and they like me too, but i dont know how to tell my parents because all they say is people that are teens and are LGBTQ are confused. I don't know how to tell them they arent confused it's who they are.
im a girl and my friend who i like is a girl. Their parents know we both like each other but MY parents don't.
