I agree with the lazy part, but I also think that the simplicity of the character makes it easily memorable and identifiable. Blocky’s character can easily pass the character design silhouette test. On top of that it makes drawing the character a lot quicker for him. I’m not just saying this because my character is a book with legs and arms though no defending my own. the character I use is dogshit lmao
