I feel closed species stunt the creativity of artists, no matter what subject matter they draw, it can be a "species". Same with sushidogs. Theyre LITERALLY JUST SUSHI + DOGS. I have made that before on deviantart and almost got CANCELED for drawing my girl Cofi. (ill draw her later.)

And if we were going off the sushidogs concept, i could make my pastry bears into a closed species and bash the creators of sushidogs.

However, some closed species are interesting! (i know im controdicting myself, just wait.) Take Impims! theyre a rather interesting and cool concept! bonus points for them not just being an object/animal + animal thing. I'm not bashing people who like closed species btw, i'm just saying i dont support them.

(i used to be one of those people who would make "illegal" closed species ocs, but for only personal use. i dont condone that especially if the creators dont allow it + the people who make the "illegal" ocs dont even use them)
