LinkI've been trying to create a new character but my drawings are dumb using a phone!!!!

I would suggest utilizing as many layers as you can for the sketch.
After that, take a low-opacity color and do "sketch-shading."
Take a high-opacity eraser and erase the sketch so you can only see a lighter version of it.
Take another layer and do lineart.
Copy and paste lineart onto a layer below that, and fill in colors.
Copy and paste lineart again onto another layer above the colors and do shading and highlighting.
Draw the background.
That's how I do it, anyways.
