LinkDino is born in Spark Pack around the same time a wolf named Honeydove is. They grow up as friends because their parents were close as pups. Honeydove’s mother is the alpha of Spark pack, so it’s pretty natural that she’s always by her side. Later on, after becoming moon warriors, Dino’s skills are noticed, and he’s rewarded by becoming the beta of his pack. Looking him straight in the eyes for the first time, Starfield, the alpha, sees more intentions than mentioned once he becomes Beta. Soon after, Dino tells Honeydove his plans to overthrow Starfield and become the alpha of Spark Pack. Honeydove obviously doesn’t agree with his plans, but he goes along with them anyways. Blinded by his own desire to get revenge, he kills Starfield. Regret begins to sink in soon after as he has a small mental breakdown.

LinkAlthough, Honeydove is disappointed in his actions, she still knows that she’s the only one he has left in his life, so she comforts him mostly out of pity. Shortly after, Dino becomes the alpha of Spark Pack, and starts planning the next war / battle against Thunder Pack. In fear of his old best friend getting hurt in the crossfire, he ties Dustyleaf down with rope and leaves him there, hopefully once the battle is over. Finally, during the war, Dino reaches his goal, and kills Bluemoon, but to his surprise, Dustyleaf comes rushing towards him, the rope still tied around his neck, as he attacks Dino with lightning. The bolt charges through his body, impaling him, and sending him coughing and bleeding on the ground.

LinkDustyleaf cries over his dying body, suddenly coming to his senses. He didn’t mean to attack Dino, but in a moment of heroism, he was blinded by all other faults and rushed onward to save his newfound pack. They stare each other in the eyes for some time, before Dino attacks Dustyleaf on the ground. In a moment of desperation, Dino shoots a laser through Dustyleaf’s heart and sends him too onto the ground bleeding heavily. Dino had always loved and respected Dustyleaf. Even after joining Thunder Pack, he still cared about him, since he was the only friend he had back then shortly after his family was killed right in front of him.
“At least we’ll die together… See you in hell, pal..” was not a line meant to kill a hero, but a line meant to last a friendship.
