Here Both characters happen to take refuge from something in the same place. Character X is trying to convince Character Y to do them a huge favor. Character X teases Character Y about something, playful or otherwise. Both characters try to get out of an escape room, either for fun or for actual survival. Character X comes home to find that Character Y already let themselves in. Character X catches Character Y staring at them from across the room. Character X needs to tell Character Y something private, but too many people are around. Both characters must work together to escape a fire, flood, or other disaster.
