WolfSpirit's Story - Prologue WolfSpirit Woke up. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing. It felt like a nice day for hunting! She stood up onto her paws, and walked out. The sun warmed her fur. "Ah! There you are!" A low pitched voice said behind her. A pure white Tom with blue eyes stood there, smiling. "SnowPelt!" She gave him an annoyed glance. "You know I don't like you coming up behind me!" "I know! I know!" He gave her an apologetic stare. "Well, you've got a funny way of showing it." She turned her back to him and walked through the Bramble entrance. "How can I make it up to you!" He asked, desperately. "Hunt with me." She said. "Thank you, oh Thank you, WolfSpirit!" He danced happily. He stopped. Something was wrong. WolfSpirit felt nervous. Suddenly, there was a quick flash... "Wha-" WolfSpirit didn't know what it was. "What was that?" SnowPelt whispered, shrinking into his fur. "I don't know..." SnowPelt was scared! He was usually the biggest and toughest cat, and brave.

"HELLO." A voice addressed them. "So glad you could join the party!" "Who are you?" She sobbed. "Me? I'm SOMEONE. DOESN'T REALLY MATTER." He stepped in front of them. "NIGHTSHADOW!" SnowPelt Spat. "SNOWPELT!" NightShadow Spat back. "STAY AWAY FROM MY BEST FRIEND, SNOWPELT!" NightShadow snarled. "NO!" He yowled! "You stay away from her! You KNOW that your dangerous!" And then, SnowPelt sprang into NightShadow. He bit NightShadow's fur, paws, then his neck. SnowPelt did it so fast, that NightShadow had no time to got him back. He was stunned! "Goodbye, WolfSpirit. I'll see you in StarClan..." He rasped, and lay limp. He was genuinely dead. "SNOWPELT! What have you done?!" Her eyes were sad with grief. She grabbed her NightShadow's scruff, and carried him back to camp without saying anything to SnowPelt. She is never going to ever trust or forgive him after this incident.
