why do i love this so much?
oh yeah maybe because I, unlike most kids, gave barbies actual good haircuts (bobs, side cuts, bangs, etc. I was good at it too, but now I don't trust myself to cut a loose string off of a T-shirt) and then after a while when that haircut looked old would shave their heads and use acitone to smudge the paint on their faces and rip up their clothes to make them look haunted and spooky.... not surprised if my parents were scared for me...
i tended to give my dolls haircuts, too, believe it or not. i used to always do a pretty side bangs look with a split in the middle of the back of the hair, then do pigtails. looked really cute
then i gave up and began snipping of all of their hair and laughing like a psycho and my parents were concerned for me
i wasnt surprised
