Her Father is the Chief of the tribe so that means she is the Chief's daughter. Everything was peaceful until a war broke out between her tribe and her best friend's tribe. Her Father was trying to save her but was killed right in front of her by her best friend's father, he said this to her "run away or else you'll end up like your pathetic father." So that is what India did, she ran away leaving the tribe to fall at the hands of her enemy. She ran away to the forest of Europe where she still is today.
