Sandstorm Scorpio worked in the repliforce before becoming a hunter. He was in charge of guarding cargo and VIPs. When he became a maverick hunter, he was stationed in the desert, all alone with nothing but a pet Pararoid R-5 robot, which He named Bugzy. He modified it to make it have an actual personality, and is extremely loyal to him. It is pretty much the only friend he ever had, so when he could get more friends by joining the mavericks, he and Bugzy joined the mavericks without a second thought. Sandstorm Scorpio is not that trusting others, other than Bugzy. He is also very loyal ally, which is He is severely damaged when defending his post. He has a radio on his head to intercept radio broadcasts and distort them. He can also summon sandstorms, when he glows blue, which although makes it tough too see, takes a lot of energy out of him.
