Linkokay, so while i was making my recent vents, a couple people were like "oh thats so me!" and "relatable!" and it made me really mad
listen,
don't try to relate to people on their vents unless you're proving some sort of point. people who are venting need support, not "omg mood!". especially if it's for something like suicide, that's really serious and you shouldn't go "me too lol!" whenever someone makes a vent like that.
it's even worse when people are all depressed about it when they try to relate to you. one time a user (not naming names) commented on one of my vents saying "oh me too... here's why.." and attached their own vent to mine. it was the post attention seeking thing i've seen in a long time, honestly; and her problem wasn't even that big. she got in a fight with a friend on here and that's basically it. it could've been easily solved with some conversation and forgiving nature, but you know, anxiety and depression aren't fixed that easily.
if you're sad and depressed enough to go "oh

Linksame" on someone's vent, then make your own. don't hog up the spotlight and steal it from someone who actually needs the comfort.

LinkI mean, I'm tired of people doing that, too-
True true, I have seen and done the same thing and it makes me rlly upset when other ppl do this or when I do it myself.
yES
I hate it when people do that.
A lot of times with min though, or when I see others, and they say something like "same" or "I feel exactly the same way" it's sort of dumb because vents often have a lot of symbolism and the drawing alone often doesn't tell the story unless you know their actual problem, so they'll say "relatable", when they don't even know what they're relating to.
idk
guess that's just my take on it.
