What can I say
The concept of dressing up as one of my characters appeals to me
Oh wow.. I go to a lot of conventions in cosplay and always see a lot of furries, I just have to say as someone who has experience making costumes those costumes are HARD to make and I applaud anyone who makes a good one. And they are also hard to wear, they heat up very easily and masks arent the easiest things to wear for long periods of time.
I am looking forward to pictures, I like seeing anything related to making costumes.
I've heard, but I'm hoping now that I can get the materials it will be a matter of trial and error :)
I've got plans, and I'm willing to put in the time.
My main concern is my lack of fabric knowledge, but I suppose that is why I started with the easiest character.
Do you have a picture I could see of him?
I know how to sew and things, I could give you a few tips :)
Oh so you will just have the head, paws, feet and tail? Okay.. what materials do you plan on using?
And color-
I'm doing him because he is mostly uniform colored, so 1. He is the simplest, so best for a first suit
2. He would be cheapest to remake (considering if I ever do remake him I would probably have to pay for it myself)
I haven't anything set in stone but I'm planning on using foam, I know little of fabric so I'll be doing some research before deciding on materials
I love these characters so much, can't wait to gain more experiance with building these :) I hope to become good at it one day
Yeah, I recommend youtube videos about people who make fursuits those should give you some really good ideas.
That's what gave me the idea in the first place, I always assumed they were a lot more complex then foam, but now that I consider it with a bit of work it should be acheivable.
Yeah, Im trying to get good at making cosplay as well. I love doing it and maybe I can sell some things at conventions :)
Well I'm getting started early, while I still have my parents to pay for things XD
Might go to some conventions eventually, they sound fun.
Mainly I'm just working up practice so I can make a suit of Quazzi, because I love him and his design.
I started early too and got some help from my mom in the beginning, but after I learned how to sew better I enjoy doing it as I please :)
