LinkAs the Farris series goes on, the themes within it will get darker. There is prevalent mental abuse, some violence, mentioned suicide, isolation, insinuated sexual harassment, and lots of triggers. Taking into account that most of my audience is children (or at least preteens) I’m wondering if I should go on.
Farris herself will be introduced in the next episode and it all goes downhill from there. Should I....
A) tone down the series to not be so dark
B) not continue the series
C) make those scenes 18+
D) something else?

Linkeither C depending on some things, or put a trigger warning at the begining of the ep. I also enjoy darker series so i wont mind.

i dont think you should change the series or tone it down,,, making those scenes 18+ seems like a good and safer idea to me tho

especially if its based on personal experience I don't think you should make anything less intense if it's the original intent
Supposedly C is your best bet. It's a bit safer.
A goes so much against your original intent, and B is just out of the question since so many of us love the series.

If you really want to make sure your audience is safe, I’d suggest C. If they become upset, than it’s their problem because they made the choice to click it, tell your stories how you like.

Like if it contains abuse It’d be ‘Farris part — tw: abuse’ or something like that so nobody gets hurt

I honestly love the series the way it is and plus most of the kids on here do gore so i doesn't matter in my eyes.

I feel like you shouldn't let the series be affected too much by what others think, like toning it down for children n stuff (tho I understand why u might wanna). Maybe make rly dark or slightly-triggering scenes 18+ seeing as some ppl might be more sensitive or not want to see it
