If your trying to do the smudge effect I would have it be the same size as the eye and slowly growing then shrinking to normal once the object stops moving. :O
And it only looks like the eyes are being smudged I would make the head go a bit more in to an ovel.

Also sorry I really don't mean to come off, well, mean. Im just trying to help with something to make an animation for the future more smoth. This is really smooth but the eyes just grow imidiently and it just kinda makes it a bit more looking either like a closed eye or a big eye brow.
