Why is it that mediocrity is praised on here. You do realize that complacency is the enemy of improvement, right? If you're fine with how you are, you aren't getting betger. So why, oh why, oh why do you lift people up so high for being just okay? You see art that isn't bad and treat it like that means it's great. It's actually genuinely annoying to me, because I can't trust any feedback I get. I love constructive criticism, but if you all suck people dick for not sucking at art, how the hell can I trust you when you say my stuff is okay?

Also, the go to compliment for animations is "smooth" and it pisses me off because, no, my animation isn't smooth. It's shaly and a bit choppy. I kinda like it that way. So don't blow smoke up my arse telling me it's smooth when it isn't. Creative, weird, odd, unlike a lot of pther stuff, well thought out, sure, but smooth it ain't.
