After Kirby's dreamland 3, and Zero's death, the remaining dark matter resurrected Zero, and he proceeded to attack the planet Ripple star, scattering 72 crystal shards across the solar system. After defeating Zero Two's second-in command Miracle Matter (who i will do at a later date) with the 72 shards in hand, Zero Two will create a dwarf planet, named Dark star. It is short, but a very twisted version of the 1st stage. After completing it, Zero Two will finally show himself. You have to shoot his eye, and then his halo, and then a vine that comes out of his bottom. He, again attacks by launching blobs of blood at you. He is only slightly tougher than his 1st fight, but the epic theme is enough to get your nerves ready for a final battle, and, inevitably, defeat Zero once and for all.
