LinkInktober is one of the worst way to get prompts. There are free apps and websites that give you prompts you can scroll through.

LinkHave you actually read my opinion? I just think it's a kind of crappy way to give prompts, and many people seem to do it just because everyone's doing it.

LinkOkay. I'm not saying not to do inktober, just that people overstate how good it is.
Full disclosure, I don't know what prompts Inktober has.
My opinion is, for the first year, it was fine. It inspired artists to use a medium that they may not be used to (You need to do inktober in ink, on paper).
But now it's just a bunch of prompts for you to draw. It's not really bringing attention to ink on paper, and the prompts are probably kind of sucky for most people. Maybe one or two inspire you to draw something cool, but really how many prompts really make you want to draw? Or are you drawing the prompts because you already want to draw and are constraining yourself to the prompts because everyone else is?
You can get drawing prompts from a bunch of places, inktober isn't special. It's worse, because most places you can keep looking for a good prompt that sparks an idea, rather than having to deal with what you get.
