At the end of Meta Knight's campaign, Metaknightmare Ultra, in Kirby Super Star Ultra, the being known as the Galactic Nova gave Meta Knight 1 Wish of anything He wanted. Instead of wishing for something reasonable, like power, fame, or riches, Meta Knight Wished to face the strongest warrior in the galaxy. Nova held his promise, and summoned a being that was so powerful, It was vanquished from the world: Galacta Knight. Since then, Galacta Knight has made many cameo's in extra campaigns, like the true arena, and reappearing as the final Boss of Metaknightmare Returns.
