I think I’ll cal the species Gieols. Armless creatures, yet they have powerful leg muscles along with a long tail to keep them balanced. They have no eyes, but a keen sense of smell and hearing. Males and females are the color above, except males have longer tail fluff at the end. I think it’ll be a semi-open species, meaning you can ask, but don’t expect me to say yes to most.
