Why is anime always so dramatic? Like, I know overreacting in anime or really animation is a big thing but still-

Yesterday I walked in on them watching and it was so freaking over the top. There was the dramatic scene where one of the characters realized the world revolves around her and the ship almost exploded. Like, c'mon. I feel that's the main reason I only really like maybe two anime series.

Also in one episode they fought four giant cubes and a tech nerd made tress grow out of them

I'm not making that up, look up Voltron and watch it. I don't remember what episode it is and I only saw part of it but it was so confusing
