My mom is incredibly transphobic, i'm not sure how this topic came up but we started talking about this trans women who works at a pet store near where I live.. My mom always called her by the wrong pronouns so I brought it up and said she goes by she/her pronouns. So she got mad at me and started yelling at me so I said how rude it was to use the wrong pronouns for someone when they've already transitioned. My mom got even more mad and started yelling even more, then she decided it was a good idea to bring up her trans friend (MtF) and was referring to her with He/Him pronouns. I EXPLAINED how that was rude and she was being transphobic so she said "I KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS THEN YOU *****" :/

It's funny since she was being so contradictory to her argument, and then decided to say she knew more about then me when I myself am trans and she knows that. It's also funny how calm I managed to be through all of it while she was yelling so god damn loud.

I came out to my dad in a mcdonalds drive through lmfao- I had him tell my mom in private which worked out ig
