I'll use my Oc Lily. (I don't have a picture right now) She has brown hair and lavender cat ears and tail (very FLOOF)

Lily sighed, walking on the cracked sidewalk of her neighborhood as she headed to the park with her messenger bag slung lazily across her shoulder. The night before, her parents had another argument consisting of yelling and throwing things at each other. Her mother decided that she was leaving, which left Lily with her alcoholic father.

Lily looks up, watching as he ran past. "Hey, are you okay?" She said, running up to him. Although she didn't know him, she really just wanted to get her mind off of the argument.

(Sorry it took me a minute, I was changing classes)

Lily sighes as she watches him run off. "So much for making friends..." She muttered. She trudged off to the park, sitting right below the fountain and pulled out a sketchbook filled with different things, but mainly animals and people.

She looks across the road to see the same boy, seemingly looking for something. She cocked her head to the side, flicking her tail. 'Poor guy...' She thought, getting up. She ran across the road and stood by his side. "Looking for something?" She asked.

She starts to look around. "What's it look like?" She asks, picking up a small stick and examining it before tossing it into a bush.

She plunges about halfway into a bush. "Wait, I think I found it!" She said, pulling a bracelet out of the bush. "Is this it?"

(I'm joining now) -Braixen is sitting on a bench on the sidewalk-

She shakes off the leaves that have plastered to her lavender hoodie and pulls a thorn out of her cheek. "I'm fine." She dusts off the dirt with her hoodie sleeve, making it shine.

Braixen gets up, walks to the park, and sits on a bench there

He watches their conversation, but tries not to bring to much attention to himself.

She hands him the bracelet, feeling her face heat up a little. She never really knew how to respond to someone caring for her, because of her parents always treating her like she doesn't exist.

Braixen sighs in the distance, and just watches, and slightly smiles.

"Heh, no problem." She said, rubbing the back of her neck. "You, uh, you'd better go. You're gonna be late for that important thing."

She walks back to her spot, singing quietly to herself as she sat back down below the water fountain. She looked around for some inspiration.

Braixen realizes that him and a few others are the only ones at the park, so he just kinda panics and just looks down at his phone.

(I drew her in a song thingie)

She sees a boy sitting on a bench listening to music and decides to sketch him.

Braixen takes his Joker (from Persona 5) glasses and puts them on.

After a few minutes, she loses interest in drawing - mainly due to her hand cramping up - and puts her drawings away. She snaps a picture of the boy to use as a reference later. (Wait... Can they like, turn into the animal they are part of?)

(If you're talking to me, no. He has a persona that he can use for emergencies.)

Braixen hears the snap, sees the camera, and starts to blush in a small panic.

Her ears twist back as she realizes she didn't have her phone camera on silent. "Crap..." She growled. Leaving her stuff, she changes into a cat and runs off behind the fountain.

Braixen becomes very confused, gets up, and looks at the stuff. He understands that she likes drawing but that's about it. He goes back sits on his bench

She peeks over the fountain as he walks over to her stuff, then leaves. She becomes curious and follows him back over to the bench. (@Scarlet-Night123 ono)

Braixen sees this cat follow him, thinking it's just a stray cat, and leaves it alone.

She sits down in front of him, her lavender fur swishing in the wind.

He becomes confused and kinda concerned, but he decides to just take off the Joker glasses and minds his own buisness, still thinking it's just a stray cat.

Her ears flicked as she heard what sounded like the boy from earlier. She ran off in the direction of his voice to find him looking at a strange tree.

(Oh fu-... please don't eat me XD)

Braixen is very confused, and just puts his head in his hands because he doesn't understand what is happening.

Lily looks up a Luke and transforms back into her human self. "What's wrong with this tree?"

Braixen decides to let his persona out, despite being in no danger, but just to let of some steam. it makes a decently loud whoooosh sound.

"Yeah... Weird..." She puts her hand to the trunk of the tree. "It feels kind of... warm?"

(XD sorry wise) She looks around, landing her eyes back on the other boy. "HEY YOU!" She yells. "CAN YOU COME HERE FOR A SECOND?"

Braixen walks over with his persona behind him "Uhhh yeah?"

"Feel this tree." She says, grabbing his hand and putting his palm against the tree. "Does it feel weird to you?"

"Get your hand off of me! And... no."

She feels her face heat up. "Er- sorry. Uh..." (Gotta go eat lunch Brb)

Yeah. Don't worry about my persona by the way. He's like a ghost, you can't interact with him.

(Hey, I'm back)

Lily scuffs her feet on the ground. "I'm Lily..." She mutters.

She feels her face heat up, turning slightly pink. "T-thanks."

(Gotta go. I probably won't be back until Monday.)

(Nvm, still got 15-20 minutes) She cocked her head. "How can a tree look sad?" She asked

(Nvm again... Bye!)

Lily looked up at the leaves, brown and dying. She sighed. "Poor thing..."

"Do you think there's anything we can do for it?" She asks.

"Yeah." She looked around for a park worker.

Lily jumped in surprise, nearly falling on top of Luke

"Uh, y-yeah..." She stuttered, staring at the tree.

At this point, Lily can hardly hold herself up. She leans on Luke for support. "Did the tree just...?"

She shook her head, her brown hair whipping around. "I need more sleep..." She muttered.

(Very... and I love it) She gave him a wide-eyed look. "Yes, let's follow the crazy tree that can somehow walk by itself... Alright then."

"Well, you only get one life. And when else am I going to get a chance to follow a walking tree?" She said, attempting to ignore his comment.

"Probably. But I'm gonna see where it goes."

"Uh... Okay then..." Lily starts to walk towards the tree.

(Lunch, brb)

Lily looks back. "Coming or not?"

"Well, its a tree, it has no brains. How should it know to walk around?"

(Yeah) After following the tree for a few minutes, the surroundings became odd. They were in some rural town.

"I don't know... I've never been out here before." Lily became slightly weary. "But it seems oddly familiar..."

Lily let out a giggle, but it sounded forced. She looked at the symbols, then pulled out her phone to take some pictures. "I'm kinda hungry, come to think of it. Wanna see where that smell's coming from."

She rolled her eyes playfully, then turned into her cat form. "Well then, come on." She ran off and rounded a corner.

She sees a small shop, with a sign that reads, 'Lisa's Pizza and Burgers'.

(Gotta go) Turning back into her human form, she walks in.

The room was dark, although the sign read open. "Hello? Is anyone here?" She called out.

She wrapped her tail around her left leg as she walked around. "Me either. Hello?" She called again.

Lily nodded. "Yeah, let's go." She glanced around once more before bolting to the door.

"Yeah..." She shivered a little. "Hey, where'd that tree go?"

Lily picks up the leaf. "Hmm?"

She looks back

(Wait, what's behind her?)

(Lunch time, brb) The tree, she noticed, was following them. "Well hi there!"

Lily laughs. "Seems friendly enough to me."

(Gotta go, see you tomorrow) Lily laughs, grabbing a handful of leaves and throwing them in the air. (I love how they're just on the sidewalk throwing leaves like children XD)

Lily snatches the leaf out of the air, then spitting it out. "Plegh, gross. Not yummy." She laughs. (Yeah, but it's still adorable)

She shrugs. "You never know 'till you try."

(It's fine) (And welcome back!) She shrugged. "I wanted to catch it...?"

"Pff... Hands are... stupid..." She said, blushing as she looked at her hands.

"I don't know..." She puts her hand on the tree.

"No..." She backs away.

"...Huh?"

"Why not?" She opens the door.

Lily looks into the bush. "Where'd it go?"

Lily backs away. "Well then... Not friendly I guess."

Lily stares as the creature runs to her. (Lunch, brb)

"Uh... Hi?" She says, a little confused. She reaches down to pet it.

She gently pets it, trying to soothe the poor creature.

Lily looks wide-eyed, but speaks calmly. "I'm Lily. Who are you, little one?"

(Sorry, I had a test) Lily sat on the ground to try and be at eye level with the creature, but then realized she was still too tall. She transformed into her cat form, then laid down.

"Don't worry, I won't eat you." She promised. "So, who are you?"

She sighs, turning back to her human form. "Better?"

"So, you have a name?"

"Is that what it is?" She asks calmly.

Lily shoots a glance at Luke, telling him silently to be nice. "Very much a mouthful." She says. "So, do you know what's wrong with your tree?"

"Does it fix itself?" She asks Treyaverlyn.

Lily looks over to the girl that seems to have appeared. She nods in acknowledgment, then turned back to Treyaverlyn.

Lily picks up Treyaverlyn and holds it to her chest, trying to let her beating heart soothe the creature.

"Oh- uh, sorry. I was trying to make you feel not... threatened and stuff..." She said.

"Oh, ok..." She puts it down

Lily giggles. "Yeah, definitely."

"Heh... It's complicated..." She said.

She looked at the ground, blushing.

"Uh, er- yeah..." She lied.

"No, it's fine. Treyaverlyn is just trying to be nice." She said to Luke. She turned to Treyaverlyn. "It's just some family issues. I don't talk about it to a lot of people."

Lily took a minute to think. "Well, a family is like friends, but they are related to you. Like, if you had a child, then that would be your family. Make sense?"

Lily sighed. "Dang, I never would have thought family would be hard to explain." She said, mainly to herself. "A family could be, like, a group of species who are so close to each other, that they love each other. Kinda."

"Well, I might as well not have that kind of connection. My parents gave me up at 12 years old, after calling me a failure. They died that same day because of drunk driving."

She bites her lip, breathing slowly. "I-it's fine, really." She says, biting back her tears. A small drop of blood forms on her lower lip as she bites down.

"So, how do we fix the tree?"

She wipes the blood away with the sleeve of her hoodie.

"I mean, I think that store down there might have some." Lily says, pointing to a shop called 'Gears and Gadgets'.

"I hope it's opened," Lily says, walking over.

As Lily walked towards the store, she noticed a shadowy figure through the window. "Well, it looks like someone's there."

"Hello?" She knocked on the door, then noted as the figure walked to the back before returning.

The door opens with a silence splitting screech as if it hasn't been opened in years. An old man stood in the doorway. "Yes?" He said in a rusty voice. "Are you opened by chance?"

"Yes... what are you small..." He looked from her to Luke, to Treyaverlyn, then back to Lily. "Creatures doing here?"

(PFFFFFFTT IM DYING I LOVE HIM SO MUCH) "Well, my friend here," Lily says, pointing to Treyaverlyn, "has something to fix, and needs some gears." The old man laughs and invites them in.

As Lily walks in, she notices that the walls are filled with gears, tools, and random hunks of metal.

"Do you think you could use any of them?" She asks Treyaverlyn. The man walks to the backroom, and Lily stops at the door.

Lily looks through the doorframe to where the man went. "Uh, sir?" "Come back here, I know exactly what you need, Treyaverlyn." He says. Lily feels a chill rise up her spine when she hears the man say the creature's name.

The man peeks out, but he's now younger, around his twenties. His hair is a chocolaty brown, and his eyes are emerald green. The ears on top of his head resembled that of a wolf, with the same color of his hair. "Let's just say I've met you before." He said to Treyaverlyn.

The man brings out a box full of springs, gears, and metal lumps, none of which are like those that humans use. He sits down on a chair beside the register. "Well, not too long ago, before you were born," he started, looking at Treyaverlyn. "I helped your... er, group." He stuttered, not remembering what a group of their kind was called. "I was there when you were born, and when you were 'put out' as they called it. For a few months, I had raised you. Do you remember that?"

(Sorry I had to present) He smirked. "Yeah, I didn't think you would. You were too young. Anyway, besides the point." He pushed the box towards them. "These should help you."

"Thanks, Mr..." Lily said, picking up the box. "Please, call me James. James Morter." He said, giving her a wink.

(gotta to lunch)

(I'm back) "Well, thank you, James." Lily walked out, back to the tree, then handed the box to Treyaverlyn.

(Gotta go, see you tomorrow. You can go ahead and write your part)

Lily sits down on the curb and looks up at Luke, smiling.

She pats the pavement beside her, offering for him to sit down.

"So, what's your story?" She asked. "How'd you get your ears?"

"Mine were inherited. My dad, well, my REAL dad, was part cat. He hid it from my mom and showed her after I was born. My mom was mad but raised me anyways. For a few years, I was her pride and joy. But at 12, my mom and dad decided I was too much to handle. By that point I had a little brother who was without animal features. They called me a failure and took me to an adoption home. I was told that when they were headed back home, they wrecked because they were both drunk."

She shrugs. "It's whatever." She says. "So, what about you?"

"Well, if you don't want to, it's fine. But just know I won't judge."

She stays silent.

She sighs, looking up. "It's getting dark..." She says, her voice shaking slightly.

Her eyes widen, and she quickly gets up and darts beside him.

"U-uh, y-yeah..." She says, blushing, her eyes darting around. "I just- uh..."

Her face turns red. "I- er, uh, nothing..."

She pulls the neck of her hoodie up with her left hand, covering her mouth and nose. "mhm.... I-er, y-yeah..." She lied

"I just, ah... Don't like the dark..."

(I'm back)

(its fine i had lunch) She scratches the back of her neck. "Well, not quite the dark, but what's in the dark."

She looks at her hands. "Eh... you wouldn't believe me..."

(heyo) "It would sound stupid..." She adds.

She smirked. "True... Okay." She breathed slowly. "I can see... Well, ghosts."

"yeah..."

"You probably don't believe me, do you?"

She cocks her head. "Well... You're actually the first person who didn't think I was crazy."

She smiles at him, blushing.

(I'm going to be leaving sometime around 10-10:15 and will be back around 1-1:15. I have a field trip) "Bye..." She says. After he left, she quickly darts over to Treyaverlyn, sitting down.

"So.. how much longer 'till its fixed?" She asks

She nods

Lily lays on the ground close to Treyaverlyn.

“So, how’d you learn to fix these?” She asks

“Hm.” She nods, a bit impressed.

Lily starts quietly singing “Oblivion” to herself as it gets darker, trying to calm her nerves.

Lily gives them a smile. "Thanks." She continues to sing, but more at peace.

(It’s fine ^^) After a few minutes, Lily looks over at Treyaverlyn, then starts humming a different song.

Lily looks at the sky, filled with stars. She points at a formation of stars shaped like a 'W'. "There's Cassiopeia."

"It's a star constellation. It was named after the greek god, Cassiopeia." She explained

"All I have left is the stars. They're the only one's who still listen to me..."

"Ah, sorry. Guess I'm ranting again." She apologizes

"..." She doesn't say anything

"There's Orion. It was named after Orion, a hunter in Greek mythology. Its brightest stars are the supergiants: blue-white Rigel and red Betelgeuse."

“Yeah.” She says, slightly dazed. “I know a guy named Orion. He’s part fish.”

Lily chuckles. "Yeah, he's pretty cool."

"I can take you to meet him if you'd like. He lives... somewhere around here." She says.

(oml I love Treyaverlyn) "Sure. You should probably take a break from fixing your tree anyways." Lily says, standing up.

She starts walking down the road, and after a few yards, comes to a small brick house. She studies the graffiti on the sides of it, knowing that it's the work of Orion. She knocks on the door. "Orion?" She calls. There's a pause before Lily hears a response. "Who's there?"

"It's Lily. I have someone who wants to meet you." She yells back. There's a pause of silence before the door opens, revealing a boy with tan skin, fluffy seafoam green hair, and eyes the same color. His fins on the sides of his face highlight his eyes, making them seem to glow. He wears a dirty blue t-shirt with a gold crown on it. Written in magenta letters is "King of the Sea". "Hey, Lily." He opens the door and lets Treyaverlyn and Lily in.

Orion looks down at Treyaverlyn. "Hello there. Who are you?" He says. His eyes, although kind, seem dreary, and the bags under his eyes hint that he hasn't slept in a few days.

He smiles. "Nice to meet you. I'm Orion."

"Do you know that I was named after the constellation in the sky called 'Orion'?"

"Hmm..." He looks at Lily, then back to Treyaverlyn. "Do you know what the constellation was named after?"

"Huh. I was sure Lily would have told you. Well, the constellation was named after a Greek hunter, Orion."

"It's okay." He chuckles. "I don't listen to what she says half the time either." He gives Treyaverlyn a mischievious wink.

Lily acts offended, but then starts lauging. "He's a handful." She teases.

Orion's expression changes into a bittersweet smile and his eyes become distant as if he's remembering something. Lily puts her hand on his back, and he shakes his head. "My father told me that once. But that was years ago." A silence passes over them.

He sighs. "But it's good to hear someone say it again. Hopefully, you don't turn evil."

He chuckles. "Good. You hungry?"

He shrugs. "Suit yourself." He turns to Lily. "I'm grabbing a soda, want one?" She nods, and Orion starts to walk off.

Lily looks at them. "So, what do you think of him?"

She smiles. "He's got a heavy past. It doesn't look like he's been sleeping well. But he is really nice. And I think he likes you."

Orion walks back in and hands Lily a kitten. "Found this in the fridge. You can have it." He then hands her a Pepsi and opens his can of Mountain Dew.

(XD same) Lily looks at them. "You okay?"

"I just thought you seemed tense." She takes a sip of her Pepsi, and sits down the kitten.

Lily cocks her head. "Daytime already?"

(oke) Lily nods. "Ah, okay."

Lily looks to Orion. "So... why was there a kitten in your fridge?" The kitten, as if on cue, runs over to Treyaverlyn's feet and pounces on them.

Orion chuckles. "Don't really know..."

Orion laughs. "Yeah, not really. He's a playful kitten... Er, she...? Dang, what are you cat??"

Lily looks at the cat. "What's your name little one?" The cat looks at her and sways it's tail. "Lavender." The cat purrs. Lily and Orion jump back, Orion screaming "DEMON CAT HOLY FU-"

"Of course I do. And I'm a he, by the way." Lavender purrs.

Lily and Orion still seemed shocked. "You have questions, I presume." Lavender said.

Lily, still shocked, remains silent. Orion, on the other hand, speaks. "Wait, how can you talk?" "Well, let's just say I was in an accident."

"Yeah. There was a chemical explosion at my old house and this happened." Lavender explains.

"So, where are your owners now?" Lily asks. "Oh, they're dead." Lavender says, matter-of-factly.

"In the explosion, one of them. The other three got killed by the dog that got caught in the radiation of the explosion."

Lavender shrugs. "So, what's your story?"

She flicks her ear. "Oh, but child, everyone has a backstory."

Lavender nods. "Oh, okay. Well, I'm gonna take a nap, bye." She walks down the hallway.

Lily and Orion nod in agreement

Lily looks at Orion, then to Treyaverlyn. "I guess I can keep him...?"

Orion looks outside. "You guys can sleep here if you'd like."

Orion looks at them. "Do you not sleep...?"

Orion shrugs. "Okay then."

Orion lays down on one of the recliners. "I'm gonna sleep. Wake me if you need anything."

Lily looked outside, then to Orion, and back to Treyaverlyn. "Do you want me to come?"

She looks over at Orion, smiling as she watches him sleep. "I think I'll stay here. Come get me if you need me."

"bye."

Lavender pokes his head out from behind the tree. "Hello there, small one."

He licks his paws. "Just looking."

"Apologies, my friend." He steps to the side and watches.

He starts purring, his tail thumping up and down in a rhythm.

Lavender jumps when it starts. "...not a real tree then..."

"huh... did you make it?"

"wow!"

"Wow. Where were you prior to it?"

He flicks his tail. "That must've been horrible."
