LinkIt is not truely made out of Obsidian, that’s just it’s name, it’s actually black Vulcanized Aeronite, the raw version of the mineral, Aeronite, is found exclusively near the bedrock in the continent Yervia in the realm Agomera, its a mineral that’s illegal to mine due to its hardness since it’s harder than diamond, but it can rarely be found on the black market for an outrageous price.

LinkThe tassels are also from the realm Agomera, they are made of Stellarian Cotton, it’s good for hilts and the grips of other weapons due to its softness and its “no slip” qualities, Tamandari likes to tie the tassels around her wrist when using her sword so she is not as easily disarmed

LinkI forgot to mention, Tamandari got these rare materials by slaughtering the people who acquired them, including military leaders who had obtained the Aeronite though “mineral busts” as they are called, mineral busts are similar to drug busts, but owning Aeronite is like owning nuclear weapons, the mineral is also very light weight so it’s easy to use and is often turned into nearly unstoppable bullets which are commonly used in terrorist attacks due to their destructive capabilities hence another reason why it’s mining is banned
Yes, Tamandari has a tendency to kill people due to the anger she has of being cursed so she makes other people suffer as she does by making them die slowly and painfully ^^
