im making maggi 3 minute noodles chicken flavoured but i need to cook them basically i get break the noodles, put them into a bowl and add the flavour shit put 250ml of boiling water ( is that a cup? ) and cover and leave for 3 minutes then i needa put it in a microwave my microwave is b r o k e n so like, im thinking of putting it into a pan on the oven for 2 and a half minutes? WHAT THE **** IS 850 WATT?

okay so like this is what I got from my mother and online watt is like the power that a microwave(and I think this counts for ovens to) has so like from what I read a microwave with 700 watts or less my not cook whatever is cooking evenly, while an oven with 1000 will cook efficiently. So I think it might be like recommending that you use 850 watts? I pretty sure.

Ovens aren't measured by wattage, because they have specific temperatures that you set them to. Microwaves power is measured by percentages of the potential power, so high power on a 700W microwave will be lower than High on an 850W. Microwavable food will have instructions for cooking for one wattage of microwave, so if your microwave is a lower wattage, you know to cook for slightly longer and vice versa.
