Okay, so I though of an actual good Eddsworld AU. It's called the reptilian Au. Basically it's- After a freak lab accident at Tord's SUPER EARY retirment party the four mighty doods wake to find they have been fused with different reptiles. Tord is part snake, and is always on top of a hearing pad to stay warm. He also is not venomous he simply just constrics people by accident sometimes. He has snake eyes, and his lower half of his body is a snake tail. Tom is part komodo dragon, has claws, a tail, exc. He is always grumpy, more than usual, and usually has to sleep next to Tord bc of reasons. Matt is part turtle and is somewhat wise. Edd is part chameleon and does change color depending on emotions, and his eyes are one a chameleons.
