Leah was laying on her stomach holding a butterfly in her paw. She smiled at it as it lightly fluttered its wings.

She sat up and let it fly away, she readjusted her pink and magenta scarf. She started to walk away, swaying her tail.

Leah happily hummed a tune, she took a deep breath of the chilly fall air. She didn't notice Eli and kept walking.

She quickly glanced over at Eli and shrieked, she jumped back. She didn't expect to see someone else down this path, it was always so lonely.

Leah pressed herself against a tree, she was scared of how he looked but tried not to judge him by that. "H-Hello?"

She slid herself away from the tree and backed up. "Do you not talk?"

She sat down next to him. "Oh, I understand. I'm Leah, by the way."

"Are you.. cold?" She took off her scarf and wrapped it around his neck.

She got close to him and put her tail around him. She pressed her body to his, in attempt to exchange warmth.

She shivered and wrapped her arms around him. "Youre very cold, maybe we should get out of the wind."

Leah picked him up and brought him to a teee. She pushed the base of the trunk and it opened. She pushed him into the hole and she followed behind him, closing the opening behind her. It was cozy, and there were jars of fireflies around the small hollow. "This is my home. It's not the best, but it's better than out there."

Tree*

(Aw poor Eli :( ) Leah smiled at him, she sat in the center of the room where there was a pink and magenta rug, like her scarf. She was sitting to the left, as if she was leaving room for Eli to cuddle.

Leah put her tail around him and pressed herself against him. She watched the fireflies in the jars flutter and blink their lights.

She put her head on her paws and closed her eyes.

She opened one eye at him and smiled, and then closed it and fell asleep too.

Leah picked her head up and tilted her ears towards outside. She stared and listened quietly. (oof lmao)

She itched behind her ear and followed behind him. She glanced around a bit, it was a little dark.

She backed up back inside the hollow but stared up at the tree. Her ears fell back. "What was that?"

Leah hugged him, she stared at the tree with him. "It's okay, let's go back inside.."

She followed behind him and shut the opening. She sat near the entrance and listened. "I'll let you know when I hear something."

Leah looked over to him and she walked towards him. She hugged him and softened her voice. "Hey, it's okay."

She looked at him, "What's wrong? It's okay."

Leah walked towards the opening and jumped at it, forcing it to open. She growled, hoping to scare away whatever was there.

She gasped and grabbed one of its legs, trying to yank it back out. "Get out!"

She growled and let go, but tackled it and bit its throat. Gentle enough to not kill it though.

She shut her eyes and bit down on its throat harder, before jumping off and growling at it. She got into a defensive stance. "Get!"

She followed it out. "And don't come back!" She called.
