Say simply "Would you go out with me" or anything related to that You can buy her something nice, chocolate and flowers might be too much for a first date though.. try a charm necklace or anything that matches her style. Jewelry has been the best method for me, but try anything like that, make sure it's small though. Showing too much effort on a first date means you care too much, girls don't like that.
