hmm.... first of all you don't suck second i know how to draw an anime face from the side sorta and then u need to sorta know anatomy and be able to judge if the proportions look right i am not very good at anatomy tho then u need to know how to shade put darker shades of the color in places light would be blocked for example under things (shoulder under hair, face under bangs) and then i just put a lighter shade of the color where light would hit aka in the middle of something aka an arm, or hair lastly i do a lighter lighter shade on the front of the hair so its shiny ta da
