*in a lake a few yards off, a strange Lynx-like creature struggles to stay afloat, it yowls and makes all sorts of noises in distress*

*the creature sputters and coughs, it claws at the shore of the lake, trying to climb out, smoke rises off the creature, like a flame just doused in water*

srry, i didn't realize you had returned)

*the creature grabs the stick tightly*

*The creature finally gets enough leverage to climb onto shore, she's much larger than she previously appeared, nearly the size of a lion*

*the creature sniffs Shinx thoroughly*

*The creature licks Shinx, it's tongue is nearly as wide as his face*

*the creature sits on its haunches and looks at Shinx*

*she tilts her head and nudges her, keeping her ears pinned back to avoid burning Shinx*

*she lowers her ears and head a little, trying to look smaller and less menacing*

*The creature nudged her again, her flames turning white*

Fine) *the creature sits up again*

*lab wags it’s tail in recognition*

*the lab pounces on Itosia, it latches onto her neck, but Itosia retaliates, bucking like bull*

*suddenly, the lab lets out a yelp as Itosia grabs It’s neck in her monsterous jaws, but she doesn’t clamp down for an odd reason*

*Itosia stares down Damon, her jaws close a little more around the lab’s throat, threatening to snap his neck on half, the lab yelps in return*

*Itosia lets the lab go which in turn darts into the forest, Itosia takes a step towards Damon, snarling*

*the lab darts back out of the forest and charges at Shinx but stops short and whines at Shinx*

*the lab whines again, it’s tail between its legs*

*Itosia snorts out smoke from her nostrils*

*The lab stands his ground but winces as a Shinx fake lunges*

*the lab gets down on its belly and tries to crawl to Damon*

*the lab growls and bowls through her to get to Damon, her stands in front of Damon but facing Shinx, he barks loudly*

He* aaaaaack)

*Itosia doesn’t do anything about it, it seems as though she feels sorry for Damon*

*The lab nudges Damon, whining*

*The lab whines and backs away from Damon*

Scout: I-I just wanted to see if you were okay

Scout: Oh...

Itosia: you don’t need him

Itosia: ey scout, why do you work with this kid? Scout: he-he’s my friend... Itosia: uh huh...

*Scout watches Shinx and Itosia carefully, studying them*

Itosia: don’t attack him, I wanna see what he does, maybe he’s betraying Damon

*Scout peeks out from behind the tree*

*Scout walks out from behind the tree and sits and watches them, his ears flick*

*Scout walks a little closer to them, he turns his head to make sure no one is following him*

*Scout darts towards them and skids to a stop in front of Itosia who in turn stares him down*

Itosia: what do you want, Scout? Scout: I-I wanted to hang out with you guys... *Itosia looks surprised* Itosia: after I almost slaughtered you?

Itosia: fine, but I won’t save your ass if Damon finds out.

*Scout’s tail wags and he bounds around happily*

Scout: I-I don’t remember, I was just a pup

Scout: I don’t... remember why... well I guess it’s not important enough to remember

*Itosia chuckles loudly, like thunder booming across the forest*

*Scout feels a little embarrassed, he backs up a little and lowers his head and ears, I mean sure Shinx is cute but he needs to know he can trust her*

Itosia: ey, why you blushing, are you blushing of Scout?

*Scout seems uneasy about all this, he backs up a little more*

*Suddenly, a roar bellows through the forest, sending tremors through the ground, even beefy Itosia appears mortified, Scout darts behind Shinx*

Itosia: unsure, it was something big... and it’s a smell that I can’t recognize...

*in the distance, trees are leveled in a straight path, it’s directed at the group, the footsteps are heard all the way from here*

*Scout yelps and blushes slightly, Itosia lets out a small chuckle, the tree path has stopped abruptly*

*suddenly, a strange beast larger than a t-Rex charged out of the trees, it roars once more, shaking the ground.*

*The beasts snaps it’s jaws at Itosia, who jumps back quickly*

*The beast turns to Shinx and simply stares*

*Scout charges the beast and sinks his teeth into its calf, the beast screeches and kicks, flinging Scout into a tree, Scout hit the tree with a nasty ‘THUMP’, the beast stomps it’s left foot and charges Itosia, Itosia jumped out of the way and slashed the beast with her claws and dashed away again, for a lion sized beast, Itosia is very swift*

*the beast jumps up and snags Shinx by her tail, dragging her down and slamming her into the ground*

Srry for the op-ness, but THIS IS A DRAGON MONSTER THING XD)

*the beast turns to Itosia, it manages to catch her by surprise and snaps her up in its jaws and flings her up into the air to catch her again and fling her into the forest*

*the beast snarls and leans down to be eye level with Shinx, growling lowly*

*the beast snorts steam out at Shinx*

*The beast stands up and roars* THIS ISNT FAIR!

*The beast darts, vanishing*

*Itosia is still missing and Scout is obviously injured... or worse...*

*the only response is a sad, sad yowling of an injured feline*

*Itosia lays near a creek bed, the top of her head is bloodied, as well as a large rock near her head*

Itosia: n-no I’m fine *she attempts to stand*

*Itosia stands wobbly, she growls* I’m fine!

*Itosia sits, she nearly falls over, she grumbles*

*theres no response*

Itosia: fine, but make it quick

*Itosia grumbled* Jesus that’s bright

*still no response, Scout still lays by the tree he was flung into*

Itosia: all gods? Eh, maybe

*Itosia looks over at Shinx* oh no...

*Scout doesnt appears to be moving much, just shallow breathing*

*Scout doesn’t respond*

*Scout is quite limp, but thankfully, he’s still breathing*

*Scout’s eyes open slowly, he smiles and wraps his arms around her* I’m fine, Shinx.

*Scout blushes a good bit* y-you actually care about me? I-I don’t think anyone else ever has before... not like this...

*Scout hugs her a little tighter, he nuzzles her neck a little*

*Scout whispers* I think I might like you... a little *he hesitated saying the whole sentence, as you can tell, he’s nervous*

*Scout sits in front of her*

*Suddenly, a large ‘BOOM’ is heard, like something huge falling, like a large animal falling, one much larger than say... Itosia*

*Scout backs up a little, he looks confused*

*Scout jumps up into a small tree*

*A loud roar echoes through the forest, but this one sounds... pained, whatever it is, is injured horribly*

Itosia: who what’s to go look for it?

Itosia: well, lets go! *she gallops off in the direction of the sound, Scout starts to run after her but stops, waiting for Shinx*

*Scout darts up to Shinx and puts his side to her, allowing her to lean to try to take weight off that leg*

Scout: no problem *Scout begins to walk with her towards the noise*

*when they reach the cause of the sound, it appears to be Nocta again, she’s fallen on her side, she’s more injured than when they last saw her, something else must have attacked her, she hisses as she sees them, but she looks to injured to get up*

*Nocta attempts to stand to defend herself but falls over, she roars in pain once more*

*Nocta doesn’t attempt to bite her, she just stares*

*Suddenly, something is felt wrapping around Shinx’s hurt leg*

???: sorry sorry...

*Plume zips up the beast* eh, she should be fine without assistance *Plume vanishes*

Itosia: well, he is weird

*Suddenly, Nocta struggles to her feet, she looks worried, her eyes dart around, looking for any Guardians*

Nocta: y-you sure?

*Nocta sighs and relief looks less stressed*
