She doesn't have to, it's her own style of art, let her do what's best for her. And she isn't a man. I don't use refs, and I still got featured.

And that may be just you, but the water looks aesthetic the way she had done it.

Refs help though. A lot. Especially if you’re doing something like water, you can’t draw a few random scribbles and call it water just cuz it’s your “own style”. Water looks like water, if you want to draw it correctly you need to use a reference

@twix RP COMPLAINED THAT IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE WATER! "It's not a mistake, it's my style" doesn't work when the person drawing is trying to make it look real, AND IS COMPLAINING THAT IT DOESN'T. Nyan is offering advice. Also, man is a colloquial term, and getting featured doesn't mean your art is good. Example: I got featured. You not needing refs is fine, because you can draw what you're trying to draw. RP can't, so should should use refs so she can.

Also, it doesn't look aesthetic. Aesthetic is a noun, not an adjective.

Aesthetic is the color. so yes it is. It brings out the piece. And even though it doesn't look like water I'm saying that may be their idea of seeing it, I'm saying I like the piece for what it is and looks like. I like the contrast in the colors to bring out the look of water. To me It looks like Neverland water. Or mystic water. Which I'm saying looks good. I shouldn't have to agree with everyone that it doesn't look good or it doesn't look like water. I like it for what it is.

You complained about nyan telling RP how to make it look like water. Also, something can't look aesthetc, and aesthetic isn't the colour. Look up the definition of aesthetic please.

Listen, if you just want to argue all day over this then get out of her comment section. I'm just verifying my right to have opinions and aesthetic is color and it's also element submerged to make a piece look more than it is to bring it out or to make it feel different and which I'm saying this does. I even talked to my art teacher about this and she said I was correct. Btw shes my old elective teacher and we talked a lot about this. But it's not worth fighting over if I'm just saying the piece itself looks good as it already is.
