LinkOn November 3rd 1957 Laika (Russian for barker)was the first dog and living organism in space and the first living creature to die in orbit around the earth or in other words space.
the dog was not meant to come back to earth
with the Russian space agency only having a month to launch sputnik 2 with a living organism a dog to say..

NO DONT FEATURE THIS THE DOG DIED AND THATS SUPPOSED TO BE REALLY SAD
I know it was 1957 and all... but when I hear of an animal's death (Mainly dogs) I just want to burst out in tears. It doesn't help that last year, I had a beautiful,dog, she escaped, and some dumbass ran her over.
But don't feel sorry for me.
