Darkeyes strolled though the grasses of Riverclan. It was a quiet afternoon and she sniffed the clean air, smelling for some type of prey.
Mothstar was in her den, feeling the cool air of the afternoon. Peachfur padded up to her and dipped her head. Mothstar's eyes pinned on Peachfur. "Good sun-high today, right Mothstar?" She tried to smile. Mothstar glared. "I suppose." Her eyes turned to slits, as she watched the clouds slowly move west.

Darkeyes sat by the lake side, she looked out across the water. It was such a nice day, she wanted to sit there forever.
Mothstar glared at Peachfur. Peachfur's ears lowered awkwardly. "Should I get patrols?" Mothstar got up. "I mighty suggest it!! The clan needs to be fed as well!" Her tail fluffed up. Peachfur growled lowly and scampered off. Mothstar watched her go, her fur becoming flattened. She then padded up to the river. She laid down, basking in the sun's nice heat. She lapped a couple drops of water.
Darkeyes looked under the surface of the water. She dipped a paw into it, it was warm and felt good on her skin. She stood up and slinked into it,kicking her legs as she swam deeper into the water. She took a deep breath and dived under.
Mothstar rested her head down on her paws. She flicked her tail around her legs, and drifted asleep.
The world was so different underwater. Water grass waved at her as she kicked her legs, twisting in the water. She saw a trout a little ways away but it saw her and shot away from her. She snorted and swam up, gasping for air.
Mothstar's ears twitched. She then woke up softly, with a few sounds of padding paws. She raised her head, and yawned, watching over the area. She saw Snailpelt, Crabtail, and a few other cats. They padded up to her. "Greetings, Mothstar." Crabtail dipped her head. "You know you don't have to call me that!" She raised up and pushed over Crabtail. "Hey! No fair! You stroke first." Crabtail tumbled onto Mothstar.
Darkeyes pulled herself to shore and shook off. Water flew everywhere and she lied down in the grass,drying off.
Mothstar gave a happy hiss, pinning down Crabtail. Crabtail squirmed, unable to move. "Mothstar, our patrol must carry on." One cat said. Mothstar got off Crabtail and dipped her head towards the cat. "As you wish, Needlejaw."
Darkeyes heard a voice behind her," Darkeyes!" She turned to see a light brown striped tom, Beechleap. Darkeyes got up and licked a paw," Yes Beechleap?" " I came to tell you that theres going to a gathering tonight and we're going." Darkeyes leaped to her paws," Yay! That's exciting! Clan life would be so boreing without gatherings." She mewed.
Needlejaw was about to go, when he remembered something. "Tonight is the gathering. You need to tell everyone who's going." They all turned and left. Mothstar yawned and padded back to camp. She unsheathed her long, thin, black claws, scraping away at rock as she climbed up to High Ledge. "May all cats old enough to kill their own prey gather beneath for a clan meeting." She yowled, watching cats appear. "Tonight is the gathering, as some of you may know." Her eyes lept to one cat and then to another. "The cats going will be, Peachfur, Crabtail, Pebbleclaw, Needlejaw, Snailpelt, Blackcreek, Stonepaw, Sharppaw, and Lightpaw. Meeting dismissed." She jumped down, arching her back before laying down in her bed of moss.
