His past was him being tortured by monsters called "monsters" the monsters look like blue glass spiders with tails. Their power is to haunt an object and control it. One day, Puddle actually felt sad and helped Pines, Puddle promised to never hurt pines again, puddle also killed all monsters ever.

Pines has the power to move almost lightspeed, make ear-splitting sounds, grow pine trees, super punch (his tiny hand glows and when he hits the ground it makes an explosion). His sweater can regenerate when destroyed.

Pines is a alien cat BTW. He is like fluffy cat-shaped jelly. He also loves candy and can not have too much.
