Mia: - She was sitting at her kitchen table eating a small breakfast -
Slate was walking around in the woods,no one on his kill list at the moment
Mia: - she jumped down from her chair and grabbed her bag and headed out into the small town walking up the road into the woods-
Slate heard something shuffle.His ears perked up as he heard the noise.He sniffed the air smelling another animal.He crept towards you..
He began to pick up the pace and he jumped out of the bushes onto you and rolling you over onto your back,him over you with blazing
Mia: - She fell into the river on her back scratching it on a rock she yipped in pain - " pl-please let me go.."
He growled,"Who are you,and what's in the bag.."He looked over at the bag,then back at you.He put less pressure on you but was still over you
Mia: " I-I'm Mia of Fernsville down the street and I have fo-food in the bag.." - she opened her eyes her green and blue eyes shinning -
He gazed at you,his dull yellow eyes brightened a bit.He got off of you,"You may move along,but forget this encounter.."
Mia: - she brushed off her fur - " Not to be in your personal information but..why are you in the woods out here?.."
He looked around,making sure no one was around,"I live alone and have no where to go,I would like to keep it that way."His eyes glared into you

Mia: - She looked at him - " You could stay with me if you liked only if you want?.."
(No really..he doesn't usually feel the emotion of love bc all the stuff he was through.But there is another character that like him)
Slate looked over his shoulder,"I'm not to much of an 'indoor' person.."
Mia: "Oh..if you do need anything you could always come to me?.." - She walked to were the end of the road was and walked away -

Slate watched you a bit before returning into the woods.He thought to himself,"What if she does spread the word that she saw me..Probably should keep a close eye one her."He crept through the wood and watched you walk"

Mia: - she walked into a small farmer's shop - " 2 apples please!"
Mia: - She walked out of the shop and walked over to her small house -
Mia: - as she opened the door a strange figure was yelling at her she did not know who he was -
Slate's fur stood up,he didn't know if should attack the other figure,he didn't want to be spotted
Mia: - She yipped in pain as one of her paws were crushed by his teeth -
Jump out and roll the figure onto his belly,"Take another step towards her and you will not have a very good day after that,that is,if I let you live.."He growled
Mia: - she stood up but fell on her side -
???: - he shook in fear and ran off -
Mia: " I-I thought you didn't want to be seen.."
Slate sighed and turned around,looking side to side,"I'm a pretty big rule breaker,but I couldn't see someone innocent get hurt-"He looked behind him to see if the figure was gone,then looked at you paw,"-Are you good?"
Mia: " He broke my paw and I hit my head..but I think i'm fine.." - She looked up at him and smiled - "Thank you.."
He tensed a little and looked down,"No need for thanks-is this your home?"He looked at the small house
Slate looked at her and dipped his head,"I'm sorry for your loss.."He picked you up and placed you on his back,carrying you inside
Mia: - her eyes went wide when he picked her up even though she thought it was going to happen -
He set her down on a couch and set on the floor,"Is there anything you need?"
Mind:Why am I being so friendly,I'm a KILLER!
He nodded and went to get in,looking around her house,then getting the bag and gave it to her
Mia: - she opened her bad to a bandage and wrapped it around her foot -
He looked at her,"I uh..yeah I should probably get goin'"He got up and walked away,back to the forest
Mia: - she smiled and limped up stairs to her bedroom -

Slate walked pretty far from the house and curled up to lay down,his tail covering him slightly as the cold wind blew.

-NEXT DAY-
Mia: - she was walking (NOT) to were she met Slate the other day -
Mia: - She was walking through the trail when she seen a birds nest with baby birds in it - " How adorable.."
Slate heard the chirps of birds,he slowly got up yawning and streching
Slate was hungry,he attempted to look for food,making the bushes rustle
Mia: - She heard the bushes move and she let out a low growl - "Whos there!"
Slates ears perked at the sound of Mia's voice.He came out of the bushes,"It's just me"
Mia: "Oh! Sorry about that..um I brought you something.." - she opened her bag and handed him a small basket of biscuits and apples - "It's all I had left over ^u^"
He smiled but it was covered by his mask.He said in a happier voice,"T-thank you,very much"He took the basket and set it next to him.
Mia: " I never got your name neither? " - she sat next to him but she was still watching the birds -
He tensed a little
Mind:I shouldn't tell her my name yet..When the time is right and you know you can trust her..
He looked at you,"My name is Steel.."
Mia: " I'm Mia.." - she turned her head to slate *steel* and smiled -
Mia: - she was quite for a minute - " So..what would you like to do.."
Mia: - she placed a paw over his paw - " You can tell me anything you need to..please.."
He looked down,and sighed,"I don't think you would want to know..besides,I probably shouldn't tell you..."
Mia: "..sigh..if I tell you one of my secrets will you tell me one of your's?.."
Mia: - she looked away and moved her paw of of his - " I killed my father...I din't mean too I was just so made he was so elderly and I stabbed him with my mothers glass doll.." - her eyes started to water -
Slates eye's widened,his shock hidden,"I'm sorry..."He took a deep breath and whispered in case others were around,"My name isn't Steel,my name is Slate..And i'm a.."He glanced at her,''I'm a paid assassin.."
Mia: - she looked at him in slight disbelief - " Ar-are you going to KILL me?"
He shook his head,"No..You were not assigned"He looked at you with colder eyes.
Mia: - she looked to the side then she placed her tail around him - " Who's the person? Maybe I could help you find the person then you could live a normal life?"
Mia: " I'm still not going to take no for and answer weather I leave you or not!" - she jumped up in front of him looking down at him -
He looked at her,confused.No one beside's Navy(The other one who likes him)Wanted him to live happy.
Mia: " So are you going to let me help or not? " - she smirked at him and the pocked his nose with her paw -
He smiled and shook his head,"Your gonna go through through a lot of shit though..."
Slate looked at you,"Your gonna have to change your look though..At least wear a mask,like me..for now"
Mia: - she started to think - " I think I know where I can find one follow me!" - she started running down the street to a store which sold mask -

Slate whispered to you,"Now follow my lead"he crouched down and began to walk closer and closer to the sound of others.He eventually halted and looked down at a bunch of wolves,some dogs as well.They all wore masks
Mia: - She crouched behind him she accidentally hit him in his flank -
He closed his eyes slowly showing it was ok,He looked back down,"Were not gonna get past all of them"
He smiled,"Good thinking"he began to walk down a trail to the bustling organization
He looked around dipping his head to others,them dipping their heads back in return.

Mia: - She walked along side of slate when she heard a loud voice though she flatted her ears -
Slate looked down at her in worry,then turned around to see who called his name
A white wolf came hustling towards his,ears flat.
Slate growled,"Great..not her"The white wolf got closer."Oh how i've missed you darling!Thought you weren't gonna come back.."She smiled.Slate grunted,"Good to see you too Sora"Sora looked at Slate with lust in her eyes,then down at you,"And who is this?.."Her eyes squinted
Mia: " I-a I'm his apprentice! My names...Alexis! - she thought quick but not good -
She walked around you,"hmmm.."Slate looked at you quickly,"She was abandoned..I picked her up from the side of the road and made her an apprentice,this is a cruel world.."He looked at Sora.Sora rolled her eyes,but her tail wagging as she talked to slate,"I guess your right,but don't get too attached..you know what happens to some of the apprentices.."She laughed darkly and spoke to you,whispering,"Watch your back kid..."She looked back at Slate,"See you around lover-boy.."She walked away
Mia: - she shook her head - "What is this place?"
???: " Slate bring your apprentice for training!"
Slate didn't answer her question but whipped his head up at the order,"Follow"he said before pacing towards the training grounds
Mia: - she followed fastly behind as she seen a fighting ring -
As they passed the ring,two wolves were in there,one with out a mask and bleeding to death,another with a mask,barely had any big wounds.Others cheering.
Mia: - She looked in fear as the wolf threw her onto the ring -
Slate gasped as they did so,they took the bleeding wolf out of the ring,dragging him back into a cage and walking off with him,the winning assassin was getting many cheers by his fellow assassins.As he passed by he smiled and licked his lips,blood around his muzzle.They brought in another apprentice, grey and white specked and a bit bigger than you.Their green eyes blazing.
Mia: - she thought to herself she couldn't lose she was being brave enough and took off her mask the people gasped -
??: "it's her! The one who killed the elder alpha!"
Slate screech,"No!"
Sora entered the ring,"Well well well..what do we have here?"
Sora looked at you with rage,she stamped her foot and other assassins entered the ring,all of them snarling with rage
Mia: - She growled at all of them she jumped out Sora pushing her out of the ring -
