LinkSherbert padded through the halls, her ears pricked. Her eyes shined bright; she was ready for the day.
"Hey! How are you doing?" Sherbert called to everyone, and everyone smiled back at her. Ah, the naive little creature was quite fun to be around.

LinkEgg was eating breakfast, not ready for the new school day. "Aren't you exited, dear?" Egg's mother was packing lunch. "You might be elected for school president!" He didn't know how to feel about this, "Uhm... I guess..."
Benjamin was out for a morning fly, getting his exercise in. His dad had told him, "Going out gets all the girls and guys! You need a soulmate to keep your sanity." Benjamin would always laugh at his father's claim.

LinkSherbert nodded to Phoenix and, with a wave of her tail, promptly sat down at the koi fish pond, mesmerized.
"Ooh! Big fish!" She purred, and devotedly watched the fish swim in their orderly fashion.

LinkEgg packed his bag and headed off towards school. There he saw many familiar faces, yet not a lot of people were his friend. He lowered his head. He would not win this election with no friends.
Benjamin ended up flying straight to school. There, he sat near the pond. He looked around at all these kids and he instantly grew sad. No one wanted to be his friend as he was super rude.

LinkSchool was going to begin, and Sherbert was feeling pretty satisfied with the beginning of the day. She couldn't wait for Biology, as it was one of her favorite classes, tied with Math.
"Hey Egg! Want to walk to class together?" Sherbert called, looking at the saddened creature. They weren't friends, but maybe they could be? Sherbert was quite popular at school due to her top grades and charming personality, and there really wasn't anyone who wasn't friends with her-- except Egg?
"Egg, c'mon, it'll be fun," she said.

LinkPhoenix looks up seeing more creatures flood in the school and decides to put up his book and to head for class while tightening his blindfold

LinkEgg looked over at Sherbert. "M- me?" He looked around. "Sure!" He walked over to her and sat down.
Benjamin looked over at Sherbert and Egg. "How does she immediately make friends with the popular kid?" He got a little angry at this. He sighed and realized he was overreacting, just like he always did.

Link"Yep, you. So how's life? Want a slice of poppyseed cake? Tastes like lemon though...I'm afraid I'm going to eat it in one go, haha. Go on, it's delicious!" Sherbert smiled, but on the inside, she was broken.
Her best friend had died while the two of them were out playing on a frozen lake. Sherbert tried to save her, but failed, and ended up coming out of the water soaked while her friend was long gone.
"I.." Sherbert shook off the memory, trying not to cry. "So, shall we go to class?"
She saw Benjamin staring at her with loathing, and she looked away, but turned back again. "Yo, Benjamin? Want to come with us? You seem alone.."

Benjamin heard Sherbert and immediately looked away. 'I guess if someone knows my name that's good..'

LinkPhoenix decides to go back to the courtyard but he felt dead inside which wasn't normal for him but he ignored it and entered the courtyard where egg and sherbert were but paid no attention
