that's not gonna happen- a lot of people use vent art. and while some, like myself, have done it too much where it actually backfires, it's unlikely anyone will completely stop.
Sorry. It’s really been irritating me how so many people say they’re depressed, dead inside, considering suicide, etc. I just wanted it to stop. Those are human lives right there.
I mean, the thing is, if someone isn't posting about it they can still feel that way. They just don't publicize it. Maybe they don't say they're considering suicide, but they still are. personally, I'd rather someone reach out and state those feelings so we can help rather than bottling it up and not getting help
True, but the less someone talks about something, the less he/she think about it. The less they think about it, the better they feel. Does that seem logical?
I think the the less they think about it part is true. But when you say the less they talk about it, I think that's incorrect. If they don't talk about it, they can't get help, if they talk about it, they can actually reach out to someone and tell them their problems, allowing them to get help if they truly have depression. but furthermore, i do agree with you, just not one part.
although talking to someone you know in real life is better than online. because people that are close will not judge you, but people online can. but yeah, your correct.
"I promise to never talk about depression on this website, signed Kenia" people if you need help with your anxiety, depression, etc. The people bahind a screen can't help you. Talk to a friend, counselor or a relative, someone who knows you.
