LinkUsing art skill in an argument is not okay! Age does not matter when it comes to skill, it's a really low blow, if the argument isn't about art skill then using the "my art is better than yours" card is really bad.
Your art skill does not determine how superior you are to someone.
If you still want to use art as an argument, make sure you know what you're talking about and if you have moral to talk about, most people who I've seen use art as an argument have very low quality art.
Don't use followers as an argument! It doesn't matter how many followers you have, followers are also easily fakeable, and just because some people follow you (Most of them are innactive followers, doesn't matter how recently you joined the site, most followers do not interact with the ones they follow.) does NOT mean you're superior to anyone.

LinkHeavy inspiration/Making a bootleg version of an oc/Recoloring/Just changing someone's character's species is theft, if it looks too similar to someone else's design, you need to change it, that's if they made it before you, of course.
But if someone approaches you saying how your character looks too much like theirs and they made it first, change it, or try to make a deal, maybe a custom character trade? I don't know, just don't be a jerk, this has happened before and even recently, you being rude and stupid doesn't help your case when you're in the wrong.
If someone's venting about someone, and they don't say any names, please don't assume it's about you! And even if you do, don't be a jerk about it, not everything is aimed at you, you'd be surprised how things can be super similar but not be the same situation!
