Dearest mother, Tuesday, July 23, 1915 summer is almost over and I'm so happy that I'll be able to leave this hell hole. But today when I was on the bus, I saw it. It waved at me. Of course I was terrified but, I waved back. I had some pretty fun times but, still I hope someone not only me. sees it. I truly believe that one day I'll go down saying. I saw it. Either way I hope I don't have to run into that thing again, I hope.
