gosh i love talking about my baby's lore: A fire weakened Kiv's clan and was immediately followed by an avalanche. Kiv was out hunting with a small group of others, and they were far enough away to survive the worst of it. Kive however, was younger than most of the group and closer to the disaster. They were injured and rendered unconscious. Most of their clan was wiped out and the survivors thought them to be dead. Kiv tried to track the survivors for a few days, but a storm blew away their scent and Kiv was suddenly alone.
