Idk maybe no wings because tail and wings seem like alot. For some reason I tought of its tail flying idk why.
No wings because I found out this character exists and it'd look like a blatant rip off otherwise :(

nah, it's just meant to be like those cute animal companion things you get in every anime in existence..
The only animal companion in anime that has lots of patterns I know, is Kirara from Inuyasha.
And there's that too, I tried to animate my oc, Neon once.
That sucked and I deleted it in the end lol
