Main character Elijah (description below) and five other children are the only ones in his city to survive the first phase of The Transition. The Transition is an experiment that failed over fifty years ago but, now that scientists can got better technology and medicine, has started once again. It involves combining human and animal DNA to create hybrids. The first phase is to mix the DNA into the child (they have to be at least seven years old) which takes several months to affect the human body and make noticeable differences, leaving the children in comas for however long it takes. The children that are successful and survive are the ones that get to pass onto Phase Two: the tests. These tests involve the children being put into a randomly chosen environment (think of the Hunger Games) and will force the children to use their skills adopted from the animal they’ve been crossed with even if it seems that they are irrelevent (e.g A desert-fox hybrid may need to find a way to cross a river), will push them

their limits all while scientists are watching from afar. There are ten groups of kids in total (all the groups are named after the main scientist in charge of that group (e.g Elijah’s is called Smith)), a few days after the second phase starts the groups are all put into the same environment and sometimes run into eachother, sometimes joining forces or getting into fights. Elijah’s group ends up meeting up with another (or mayby more than that, idk yet) and they work together to find a way out of the artificial environment, escape the lab and live their lives. But, some of the other groups don’t agree with this course of action... I haven’t completely worked out the story line yet (I only came up with this idea in an English lesson where we had to write the start of a story), if you have any ideas that you think might fit in well then please say so ^U^ Don’t worry if you can’t come up with any! (I sometimes ask people mulitple times if they have ideas, stressing them out, sorry to them!)

I’ve already chosen characters for the Smith group but I still need six characters each for the other nine groups. But don’t feel pressured to think of all 54 of them! I can use random generators XD But I’d also like to see what creative characters you guys come up with! Name:

Nice! Do you want them to be in any specific group or should I choose? Also do they have any skills like better eyesight/ability to jump longer distances? If you don't know then that's okay!
