Sundial is a dead wolf! She was sent to the underworld because of something she was framed of doing, and she must clear her name to be sent to heaven. She was born with a deformity, hence why she is missing a hind paw. The silver specks are only on the underside of her wings. She has an enchanted clock around her neck, that grows tighter with each passing hour. She only has 2 days before the neck tightens around her neck, sending her back down to the underworld. She had been given clearance to pass into the world of the living to clear her name.
