No you don't, stop it.
You really aren't getting nowhere if you are like "Well, I need to go hit my hands harder ;)". If you really want to change something, then change it, if it is OC then change it and try your best to make it better. I am sorry if I am harsh but that will get you somewhere, to work harder or to make you find happiness.
