I'm actually really scared about my grades, At my school, before the report cards come out, you have no way of seeing your overall grade. Last year my grades were crap. This year I promised my parents it would be different...

same here, so far they're okay, apart from math... damn math..... anyway, i pretend that i care when they address my grades, they throw fake threats at me that i know they don't REALLY care enough to even do :P

Well, the thing is this year, i've been trying my very best to raise my grades. But it's just too much...I really don't want to disappoint them. But my teachers kinda suck. I think my grades are okay except of science, but i'm not sure... I hate it when they yell at me.

yeah, neither of them really seem to know what to do, so they just tell me the same thing "do better" "i know you can do better" "why won't you try?" and they blame it on the computer and being on the internet all the time, i know it's not the problem, the only problem is that they need to shut up unless they have anything helpful to say.. don't get me wrong, i love my parents (mostly my mom...) but it's annoying when they don't tell you HOW to improve

Most of the ways my parents tell me to improve, don't REALLy help me improve, and just makes me tired, or sad, or something. I don't hate my parents either. But when they yell at me, they don't feel like my parents. TO them my best isn't GOOD enough. They think you need perfect grades, to get into a good college, and get a good job so I won't fail at life. But i'm only in 8th grade. They say if i want to change schools i need good grades to do so. But i'm trying, and trying, and trying, but nothing works. I just might be stupid, or something. But they don't think being bad is an option. "How can you accept that others have better grades them you". But grades aren't a competition? I'm just really scared...

i know, it makes me want to stab some people... as my mom and i have agreed, if someone ****ed with us, we'd become homicidal instead of suicidal... which is probably worse, depending how you look at it >.>

also my school is just really shitty at teaching anyway, me and my mom hate the teachers, but my dad thinks that it can't POSSIBLY be someone ELSE'S fault, "well, YOU got the bad grade, it's YOUR fault :D" and i'm just over here sharpening a knife in my head :3

OH well I don't really get like that. I just feel sad and destroyed. But This just shows how flawed our education system is. SCHOOL IS LITERALLY THE FOCUS OF MY LIFE. and i hate it. My dad is really nice though, and wants my to try my best, but my mom doesn't believe that. I'm scared of my mom. And my dad will just do what she says.

welp, i could probably bring myself to hit one of my parents if they tried to do anything, now, they're not abusive or mean, but i'd be that DONE if one of them tried to hit me, i could punch them right in the face if i had to.. i'm not saying i would if they were yelling at me, but if they tried getting psychical..
