I believe that your soul goes into an object or person/animal You where close to, or of significance to you.

Like if you where really attached to a doll, when you due, your soul will go into the said doll

Most likely a bracelet I wear 24/7 unless I'm at school.

It's hard to describe, but it's like a silver bracelet with wide holes in it, like a band of melted silver running around something. My grandmother gave it to me because her mother gave it to her, so she wanted to pass down the tradition.
