sam's parents divorced when he was young, his father,slate, was being kicked out of the house, he spends time with his son, waiting for him to fall asleep before he left. after they divorced, sam's mother, daliah, became abusive towards sam. sam was confused and hurt, his mother somehow managed to get him to believe his father left for another woman. later on daliah ended up abandoning him in the house one night, and never came back. the power was off and so was the water. he tried finding help, ended up staying on the streets for most of his teenage years. sam had no mental help, he was scared of people, when he was around 17-18 he was picked up by the cops and they took him to a hospital, he was starved and mentally unstable. after a few days in the hospital he started to talk to the therapist they brought in, the therapist gave him a dose of medicine to try out, it ended up a success, but he still attends his therapy appointments
